Learn to Skate - Adults Beginner Foundations Class 🤩

Is there a better place to begin? Our Adults' Learn to Skate classes are the perfect starting point for anyone new to roller skating or returning after a break, helping you build confidence and strong foundations from your very first roll.

Led by one of our experienced Roller Dance Australia members, this in person class focuses on building confidence, good technique, and strong foundations so you can enjoy skating safely and enjoy having fun on wheels. In this supportive, beginner friendly one hour session, you’ll learn the core fundamentals:

• how to stand and balance confidently

• skate forwards and backwards,

• beginner transition,

• turn safely, and

• stop with control.

We know that sometimes practicing outside of class is hard, so we encourage you to try our Roller Studio sessions on Tuesdays to share and connect with other skaters and practice what you’ve learnt. Roller Studio isn’t a rink; it’s a studio where you can practice your moves, learn new sequences and connect with other skaters. With music, good vibes and support from our team, you’ll reinforce what you learn, experiment and feel part of a beautiful community.
